I am Abdelrahman Zohairy, an ENTJ born to a family of altruistic and prestigious doctors, that owns a leading private hospital in Cairo. After receiving my BSc in Finance and Economics with first-class honours I earned my MSc in Management and Health from Imperial College Business School.
I strive for excellence and work collaboratively to develop and implement operational strategies that solve clients’ most critical problems. With my peculiar interest in problem solving, across my academic, extracurricular and professional settings I teamed with 20+ nationalities to provide exhaustive solutions to over 30 projects in the finance, consulting, and healthcare industries including:
• Outsourcing the payroll of a leading private hospital to the National Bank of Egypt
• Mapping the UK Synthetic Biology landscape to a leading research national centre
• Initiating the first Annual Volunteer Networking dinner for 34 Imperial College societies
My passion lies in applying my business acumen to both the health care industry and economy. How to build a business model that creates value, captures value, and generates profit while providing high quality and affordable health care to patients? How to democratise health care to improve the overall well-being of citizens in my local community? How is digital disruption impacting hospitals’ provision of care? These are few questions that keep me up at night.
